I spent 30 minutes on the air at WCAP (radio station in Lowell, MA on the AM dial) with Jeanne Osborne, the President and CEO of the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce.
The time flew by because it was a truly enjoyable experience. It was an opportunity to speak about: our law practice, the possibility for comprehensive immigration reform,and the current need for employers to have on-going compliance policies addressing immigration and labor laws.
I want to thank The Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce for giving me this opportunity to address issues that are dear and close to my heart. Immigration has profound implications for individuals and for our nation as we head into a future with a declining population and a more diverse population.

We are pleased to announce that Attorney Maria L. Santos is now Immigration Counsel with the firm of Schwartz Hannum PC, a well-established law firm providing labor and employment representation to management to help employers achieve their goals.
While Maria assumes the Of Counsel relationship at Schwartz Hannum PC, she continues to provide Immigration representation to clients of Balas, Alphen & Santos, PC.
With this new affiliation, clients of both firms will now have access to Attorney Santos' thirteen years of employment immigration law experience and to Swartz Hannum PC's full spectrum of labor and employment representation.
